What is the Cuyahoga Falls Schools Foundation & Alumni Association (CFSFAA)

We are a non-profit (501(c)(3 ) organization with a mission to promote educational excellence in the Cuyahoga Falls School District. Through your generosity and desire to give back to your school district and its community,  we award scholarships and teacher grants, and foster relationships with current students and alumni.

Led  by a Board of Trustees made up of alumni, parents, and community members, the CFSFAA strives to support the students, staff and alumni of Cuyahoga Falls City Schools.  Founded in 1983 by Dr. Harold Wilson, Superintendent of the Cuyahoga Falls City Schools, John W. Steinhauer, Assistant Superintendent, John David Jones, and Gary Marshall.

May 2023 Awards Recognition Ceremony

Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 7:00 pm in the Cuyahoga Falls High School Auditorium our 38th Annual Recognition Ceremony and Reception was held, and  a Wonderful Evening was had by all.

We awarded 54 scholarships, totalling $125,000.   Plus, we announced 13 teacher grants to staff throughout our school district, totalling $13,500.  Thank you to all our members and donors for their generous contributions that make this possible.

We also recognized our Distinguished Alumni for 2023.  They  are:  William Maki, Class of 1963; Mayor Don Walters, Class of 1981; and Jill White, Class of 1973.    Check out the videos on our scholarship page now!
